For several years Aviation Cargo Security Training
has been a mandatory requirement for shippers,
freight forwarders, drivers, couriers, packers and
airline staff, plus all other staff involved in the
movement of cargo by air.
Initial training, General Awareness, takes the form of a half-day course that will provide staff with a Level 4 Certificate permitting them to work in an environment involving Air Cargo movements.
The Level 4 course provided by Kernowlogis Limited has the Department of Transport approval and can be delivered at your own premises.

At the conclusion of the course, attendees will:
• be conversant with the methods that might be used to place items in cargo or mail consignments that could endanger aircraft
• have an understanding of the Air Cargo Programme, how it affects their work and be familiar with the basic principles of air cargo security
• be able to understand and explain "threat" in the context of aviation security
• have a knowledge of organisations involved, worldwide, in aviation security
